Repositioned Marina Bay Sands as more than a venue, but as a destination where celebration becomes spectacle

Especially at the start of a lunar new year it is essential for prosperity and luck to celebrate and share time and food with loved ones. For businesses, this act is a public, collective expression of optimism and shared goals, fostering a spirit of collaboration and partnership.
Each year the event acts as a large-scale, innovative showcase—demonstrating their ability to transform spaces and deliver a 'spectacular' and immersive guest experience to hundreds or even thousands of attendees.

Our approach was to craft a multi-sensory journey that would elevate cultural rituals into luxurious shared experiences, while revealing the full transformative potential of the Sands Grand Ballroom. From flow to form, from flavours to feeling, every element was curated to spark awe, emotion, and connection.
By fusing traditional symbolism with unexpected artistry and high production design, we sought to remind guests that Marina Bay Sands isn’t just a venue, it’s a place where stories unfold at scale.

Over 600 esteemed partners and clients stepped into an experience unlike any other, a complete transformation of 7,600 square metres of flexible space within the Sands Grand Ballroom.
The journey began with a striking procession through a series of illuminated scarlet arches, evoking prosperity and transition. In the foyer, guests were welcomed with a sensorial prelude: bespoke cocktails, and a luxury fragrance booth by Amaffi.
Inside, the evening was a seamless interplay of culture and creativity. The centrepiece: a luxurious take on the traditional Yu Sheng, a decadent toss of Lobster & Smoked Salmon, Caviar, and Gold Leaf, setting the tone for a prosperous year ahead.
Throughout the night, the stage came alive with curated performances from an emotive erhu solo by virtuoso Calista Law, to a spirited Chinese dance by students from Admiralty Primary School, reflecting Marina Bay Sands’ ongoing commitment to nurturing young talent and celebrating local arts.
