In an era where digital experiences often feel detached, DBS wanted a year-end celebration that didn’t just embrace technology, but made it human, joyful, and deeply connective.
6,000 costumes made with love and care
18,000 glasses polished
24,000 pieces of silverware shined
120 hours of dance rehearsals
A CEO entrance mic drop moment

Holding this live event e was far more than just a celebration; it served as a powerful declaration of a return to a new form of normalcy and a massive investment in rebuilding culture and morale. The event's scale underscored DBS's commitment to its staff's well-being and its confidence in managing large gatherings safely, ultimately acting as a potent symbol of resilience and a major boost to employee engagement and loyalty in a post-pandemic work environment.

Instead of building a typical metaverse event, Sight reimagined the idea: what if we didn’t escape into a virtual world, but built human worlds using tech?
We set out to merge DBS’s future-forward mindset with the warmth of real connection, turning a digital celebration into a space for team bonding, emotional highs, and shared pride across borders.

Hosted by a custom Avatar MC and headlined by SCMG, Benjamin Kheng, and Tabitha Nauser, the event was a high-energy, metaverse-inspired celebration, designed to feel alive, personal, and unlike anything DBS had done before.
Taking a blank series of event halls at MBS as our canvas we merged the environment into a futuristic dining experience, and later transformed it into a 360 degree live concert stage as the evening heated up.
From interactive moments to region-wide shoutouts, the experience blurred lines between virtual and real, sparking moments of laughter, pride, and unity across 6,000+ employees.
Not just another metaverse - this was our world, brought to life.
